Dr. Demartini talks Diabetes:
Dr. John Demartini’s interview was recently featured on the Dr. Mol Show. The South African based Hello Doctor program is presented by Dr. Michael Mol, a medical doctor with vested interests in Emergency medicine, HIV management and Integrative medicine. In this interview, Dr. Demartini voices his thoughts on diabetes, a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces.
Dr. Demartini has spent almost 40 years studying the mind-body connection as it relates to health and disease. Dr. Demartini believes that our physiology is the feedback of our psychology and that our perceptions can affect our wellness and illness. He explains why he thinks that our personality may play a role in terms of who gets diabetes, and what role the mind can play in managing this chronic condition.
When asked by Dr. Mol on what action steps diabetics can follow to assist in regulating and moderating diabetes, Dr. Demartini suggested the following:
- Keeping an exercise regime
- Maintain a moderate diet
-Moderate stress levels by asking quality questions of what we perceive to be in the way, to actually being on the way, as this will assist in regulating blood sugar levels.(Apply the Demartini Method to transform stress).
Dr. Demartini further delves into the role Epigenetics plays in diabetes and other diseases.
