A-Z Challenge & Benefits

Wisdom is Seeing Both Sides

Below are submissions from people regarding some of the benefits they experienced as a result of this perceived challenge:

I felt guilty

It made me look at why I did what I did, which in turn enabled me to work on myself and resolve a number of unresolved issues

I had a realization that I wanted to set a different standard for my life and so my guilt brought me back to center

I realized that I have a high expectation on myself and it taught me to be more flexible and easier on myself which has taken some pressure off me

I found a method to deal with the feelings of guilt which enabled me to move on quickly from it

It helped me to maintain one of my most valued relationships

Taught me to be more responsible for my behavior and actions

My friend was a great support when I told him and I felt really valued by his support at that time

I realized that everyone has some issue they are working on and no one judges us as harshly as what we judge ourselves

They felt guilty towards me

Our relationship grew stronger as I became a higher priority for him

I received more gifts and dinners as he made an effort to ease his feelings of guilt

She made an effort to support what I valued including not putting pressure on me to do what she wanted

Enabled him to realize that his actions had a consequence

She spoke to me in a more respectful manner

They went out of their way to make up to me

I was allowed to do and be whatever I wanted as they didn't feel they could say anything

I had power in the relationship as a result of their guilt

I could get away with a lot more as a result of their feeling guilty
